Rev. Dr. Sylvia Wilks is from the Cayman Islands. She is the daughter of Evangelist Gloria Wilks.

Dr. Wilks has a Bachelor in Theology with a Minor in Guidance Counseling, Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Studies, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis in Global Consulting. Rev. Wilks is a credentialed minister, an International speaker, Accredited Mediator, Child Abuse prevention facilitator and Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She is a coordinator with Family Foundations International Caribbean and a facilitator with the SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) programme.

 

A few hours before Evangelist Wilks passed, Dr. Wilks promised her mother that she would carry on her ministry. Pure Gold Ministries International, is a non-profit organization formed to carry on the legacy of, the late Evangelist Gloria Wilks.
